Heineken Cube Bottle

Do you like beers? Would you like to try a Heineken Cube?

These innovative stackable bottles will easily fit into your refrigerator, no space lost. It's designed for Heineken beer by French industrial designer Petit Romain.

The concept of this packaging will result in cost saving during transportation and storage. More shelf space for stores and less impact on environment.

The Heineken Cube is still just a concept that has no official date  for general release. While the Cube is a new  concept, the idea of a square beer bottle is not a new idea to  Heineken. The beer maker attempted in 1963 to help with recycling, and  so the bottle could be used in construction.

It’s hard to argue with the fact that these cube beer bottles would be  much easier to pack and stack, saving companies money on shipping which  would hopefully translate to a reduction in both carbon emissions and price.

Anyway, the design looks good and cool. But these little cute babies don't appear to allow for easy drinking straight from the bottle.

Thanks to Toxel for the info and also click here to check out Petit Romain's portfolio.

Prepara Ice Balls

These Prepara Ice Ball molds are fun to use and allow you to be creative with your ice for drinks. You only need one per glass as they are about the size of a golf ball. You can snap them together or tuck them into the unused spaces in your freezer.

Place mint leaves, whole or sliced berries, slices of citrus or larger fruits, or even edible flowers into these ice ball molds, fill with water and freeze them. You can also freeze juices, nectars, or purees in the molds to keep a pitcher or bowl full of cold liquid chilled without diluting it.

Comes in a set of 4, the 2-inch orbs are BPA free, and have a top silicone seal so your ice balls won’t smell or catch flavors from left-over food in your freezer.

Be creative and start making your cool drinks! You can buy it here!

Thanks to HolyCool for the info and photos!
